The "OLLIE" hat - oceans of fun!

This fun ocean themed hat is knit in the round in a simple textured wave stitch. A purple octopus perches on top. Bright fish are knit separately and sewn on.

• Approx. 20 to 30 yds (18 to 37 m) Sport weight yarn for octopus

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” (for 3 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle

• Small amount of fiberfill stuffing (for octopus)

EVERYONE at the Craft sale stopped to look (and touch). This was one of the 1st hats that I sold. Too bad I didn't have a 2nd one to display. Must get ready for next year's Craft Sale...
