This wooden geoboard is outfitted with 100 total pegs and has engraved numbers along the left side and bottom. It can be used to teach children their times tables, quickly gathering pegs inside the rubber bands to show any combination of multiplication from 1x1 to 10x10. You can separate each group in its own rubber band or combine all groups into one. It's a great way to demonstrate what is actually happening during the multiplication process. Other uses for this board include setting it up as a bar or line graph, showing percentage, and calculating all mathematical processes--division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction. And for a creative approach, use it like any other geoboard to make shapes, letters, numbers, and pictures using the rubber bands or yarn to wrap around the pegs.

We've purchased several items from Jennifer in the past and as always, the quality is superb! While my kids are a little young to be using this for learning multiplication, I still put it out for them and they've been loving creating designs with the rubber bands. I try to sneak in some counting and multiplication lessons and I love how it's such a great visual for teaching math!
