What is a Cinema Membership?

A Cinema Membership gives you streaming access to the latest blockbusters, new and exclusive Sky Original movies and iconic film collections.

How much do I pay?

Memberships start from £6.99 a month for a 6-month minimum term. Looking for more flexibility? You can get a membership for £9.99 a month that you can cancel at any time.

If you're on a minimum term plan and you ask to cancel during your minimum term, your cancellation will only take effect when your plan ends.

Do I get TV shows too?

No, with a Cinema Membership you can only watch movies. To watch shows you can either get a separate Entertainment Membership, or you can watch movies and shows together with a Cinema & Entertainment Bundle.

Can I watch shows without ads?

Yes. If you prefer to watch without ads, you can upgrade your viewing experience with either Boost or Ultra Boost, which lets you stream on-demand shows ad-free*. Find out more here.

What do I get?

A Cinema Membership gives you over 1000 movies to watch on demand, as well as access to all the Sky Cinema channels: Sky Cinema Select, Sci Fi & Horror, Premiere, Hits, Action, Thriller, Greats, Family, Drama, Comedy and Animation. We add new premieres each week, with the Friday premiere being the main movie of the week.

Do I need a box or a stick to watch?

No. All you need to watch instantly is:

What are Boost and Ultra Boost?

Boost and Ultra Boost are add-ons that upgrade your Cinema Membership. With Boost, you can stream ad-free* , in Full HD** (1080p), with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and on 2 devices at once. If you want to enhance your experience even further, the Ultra-Boost add-on allows you to stream ad-free*, in 4K Ultra HD** with Dolby Atmos surround sound and on 3 devices at once.

Can I download movies to watch offline?

If you've got an Apple or Android smartphone or tablet, you can download selected movies (excluding 20th Century Fox and Disney movies) to your device and watch them anywhere.

Each movie can be downloaded twice and will be saved on your device for up to 30 days. Once you start watching, you've got 48 hours during which you can watch it as many times as you like. Find out more about downloading movies.
