The crazy year of 2020 has brought forward my future plans of closing Dressing Up Daisy to study art quilting more professionally. It’s been a heart wrenching decision but I’m keen to move my work forward and I cannot pursue both simultaneously. I am so grateful to all my supporters and customers over the last 5 years, I’m really sorry I haven’t been able to fulfil Christmas requests this year. Covid has done a real number on small businesses and it has worked better for my family to focus on retraining now rather than battle into 2021. I will begin my city and guilds diploma in January,

Welcome to DressingUpDaisy - made by a designer who never grew up.

As a seamstress, I always turn to my sewing machine when I can't find what I want. Looking for fun but sturdy dressing up accessories, it was near impossible to find the quality I wanted - so I began to produce my own. Very quickly this grew into a business, which now runs from a purpose built studio in my garden.

I'm absolutely passionate about using safe materials and quality construction. NONE of my items use wire or glue, all are fully lined and topstitched. These are built and designed with child's play in mind, not just for one-off events but every day use. As of 2017 I also professionally fire proof every item (more details within each listing).

I apply the same high standards to all my items, ensuring they are all beautiful as well as built to last. Either as a brilliant gift, or for your own children, these play items will stand the test of time.

Payment method is either Etsy direct payments, Paypal and I also accept Etsy Gift Cards. Payment is expected at time of purchase, the transaction will be automatically canceled if payment is not received.

Delivery

Items are made to order as fast as possible - usually dispatching within 7 working days of ordering, using Royal Mail 2nd class post. They will be well packed to ensure they arrive at their destination safely.

Postage prices shown do NOT include insurance, special delivery or tracking. if you would like one of these options then please convo me and I will arrange it for you for an additional cost. This includes ALL overseas orders!

Please note that I am not responsible for delays in delivery due to circumstances not under my control. I am also not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or broken in the post, or for any international taxes that may arise. However, if you have waited more than 5 weeks for an item to arrive, I will provide a full refund.

NOTE: If your package has not arrived within a reasonable amount of time, please contact your local Post Office first, to see if your package is there. Missing or lost packages are sometimes awaiting "pick up" at your neighbourhood Post Office.
