Hardtail Mountain Bikes

Hardtail mountain bikes are the best way to start your off-road adventures. A hardtail MTB has front suspension and a fixed rear wheel. The suspension fork on a hardtail mountain bike smooths the bumps on the trail while the rear wheel is rigid for better-pedalling efficiency. Built for riding cross country off-road trails and mountain bike tracks, a hardtail bike also makes a great utility bike as it is versatile enough to be ridden on the road too.

Hardtail bikes are available with different geometry and handling characteristics. Hardtail MTBs like the Cube Aim and Cannondale Trail are designed for recreational riding on single track trails. An aggressive Nukeproof hardtail has a longer travel fork and is good for riding steep terrain.
