HOW DIGITAL DOWNLOAD WORKS:
After making a purchase, you’ll see a View your files link which goes to the Downloads page where all of your files are stored. Digital download doesn’t work on Etsy mobile app, to download the files, please sign in to Etsy on your computer. You can also download your files any time later by clicking on your profile picture and choosing “Purchases and reviews” from the menu.
YOU WILL GET:
- 5 high quality JPEG files ((8.5x11 in, 300 dpi, RGB and CMYK color modes) with 6 different sets of houses. RGB and CMYK are different color modes used by different printers, so you will be able to print these files with both home and professional printers.
- Please note that this is a digital download listing, so no physical items will be shipped.
TO MAKE YOUR CITY YOU WILL NEED:
1. A printer (print at home or any local print shop).
2. Some letter size paper (8.5x11in). The files are also suitable for printing on A4 size paper. I suggest printing on regular white copy paper or white vellum paper that can be found in office supply stores, craft or print shops. Vellum paper is more translucent and, therefore, your city will glow brighter in the dark. However, copy paper version also looks great because it makes black lines to stand out more.
3. A glue stick/a double sided tape or any other type of glue for paper.
4. Some light sources. I used batery operated flameless candles in my version. They are safe an easy to use, especially if you have kids. If you are planning to use real tealights, make sure you put them in glass holders and test the safety before.
HOW TO MAKE:
1. Print as many houses as you want. You can print at home or at a local print shop.
2. Remove blank space using scissors. Leave about an inch or white space on the left side of the drawings.
3. Apply glue to this white space and glue both egdes of the page together so that it would form a cylinder.
4. Put a flameless candle or other light source inside the cylinder.
