As professional dog trainers we purchase lots of dog items. We want to create products that are eco-friendly, durable, and well constructed. We originally set out to master a perfect puppy pad to replace the traditional disposable plastic puppy pads. Using a super absorbent organic fabric on the outside, while pairing it with a natural cotton multilayer core made the most sense. We did many test trials, and used many professional trainers for valuable input and critique. The Lucky Mat was born.
The star of our label is a rescue Maltese. Lucky was 3 years old and 2.5 pounds when we got the call to come check out a puppy who was in clear need of attention. We immediately took him to a vet who diagnosed scabies, anemia, malnutrition, and a list of other serious issues. Today, he is healthy, happy, and works as a therapy dog. He is the puppy on our label that makes our mats very personal.
