Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Please message us with your custom order request including references and links that can help us determine the print times and estimated price. We will verify if it is something we are able to do and will typically get you a quote and custom listing within 2 weeks for new items and for color or size shifts usually by the next business day. There is no charge for colors in stock.
We are often able to print in custom sizes, colors and sets. We are not typically able to alter a model but we do reach out to the designer for your special request. We also work closely with designers who can create a model for us so we will do our best to fulfill your request.
GriffonCo will only print licensed models or models in which do not require licensing.
Sizing details
All of our prints are printed original scale given to us by the designer. This is typically done at a 28mm-30mm scale. Please use the photos for scale reference the gridded battle map is showing 1 inch squares, and the 20 sided die is a standard size.
If you would like an item to be printed larger or smaller, please contact us directly.
Care instructions
There will be imperfections and print lines present. While we strive to only send out the very best quality, please realize this is 3D printed and perfection is not an option.
Some of our models may require sanding and/or priming prior to painting. Primer is suggested, but it is not required. Any primer will work, even spray can primer.
Some items come unassembled. Please contact us directly if you need assistance with assembly, we can send you instructions! We recommend gorilla gel glue or epoxy glue for gluing pieces together.
PLA has a melting point starting at around 120 degrees F -- items my warp if exposed to extreme temperatures.
Product Pictures
All items that are used for scale or for our product pictures is not included in your purchase.
These items may include: dice, miniatures, terrain, tiles, variations of the item, the gridded battle mat, etc.
Most models do not have moving parts. If a part is moving (such as wheels and doors) it will clearly state it in the description.
If you are unsure of what you are receiving for the purchase price, please contact us prior to ordering.
I want one of the prints that your designers have on their website, but you don't have it listed -- can you print it?
YES! Our designers have thousands of files collectively. We are unable to print, price and post all of their models.
What this means is that if you don't see what you want, or if you see another seller selling something we absolutely can print and price it out for you.
The only exception to this is when designers have exclusive rights on specific models or if licensing doesn't allow.
