Any items produced as a direct result of the designs made available for purchase may be sold by individuals at craft shows, Facebook and other social media, as well as online shops. A link to www.flythedistanceco.com, Fly the Distance Co. Design Etsy Shop (www.etsy.com/shop/FlytheDistanceDesign) or acknowledgment to Fly the Distance Co. as the designer is required. Mass production or selling of product derived from any design is prohibited by any LLC, Company, Non-Profit or other federally registered entity without permission.

What is a derivative work? A derivative work of any design or pattern is still considered the intellectual property of its original creator. Changing stitch counts or colors is still the same work.

The designs, including customized and personalized, and associated digital files are the sole property of Fly the Distance Co., and are copyright protected. Reproduction, distribution or selling of this file in any form, print or digital, is prohibited regardless of individual purchase. The written pattern, photographs, graphs, designs, and associated texts or files encompass the intellectual property of Fly the Distance Co. and also may not be reproduced, distributed or sold by any other entity.

All photos are sole property of Fly the Distance Co. and copyright protected. They may not be used for the selling of any products derived from the patterns in any way including on any online, social or store platform.

All rights to copyright are retained by Fly the Distance Co. for any customized designs and associated digital files. Purchased customized or personalized designs are for individual use only and fall under the same Terms of Use as other products unless specifically contracted. Fly the Distance Co. retains the right to sell or modify the aforementioned customized design for sale within its own shop to other entities or individuals.

I haven’t received my file, what now?

If you do not see your purchase confirmation and downloads email in your inbox check the “spam” or “promotions” folder of this account. It may have been automatically filtered into one of these locations.

If you have not received your purchase confirmation email, and it has been 12 hours or more please contact us so that we can confirm purchase and issue you a new file. Please note that this correspondence must take place via the convo application through Etsy as documentation in the event there is a glitch in the system.

Due to the nature of Instant Downloads, refunds, exchanges/credits are not available in most cases. Please read further for more information on issues and exceptions.

1. If there is an issue with the PDF please contact Fly the Distance Co. Upon confirmation of payment for a particular PDF a new file will be sent to the email associated with your Etsy account only. A file will not be sent to any other email address.

2. Should you need clarification on a process or style please contact us for assistance and we will be happy to help you work it out! A refund cannot be made for any digital file that was purchased, on purpose or in error, once it has been downloaded. Please contact us if you are having trouble and we can help!

We strive for excellence, both in our designs & our customer service! We take great pride in the creation of our designs and digital patterns. We promise to deliver a detailed, workable and professionally formatted pattern for you to use to create your own masterpiece! While we are always striving for perfection we also realize that we are not in fact perfect. Should a written flaw in the design of the pattern be discovered we will rectify the situation by, a.) fixing the pattern and disseminating the new pattern free of charge to those who purchased before the fix, b.) offer a discount code to those who made a purchase toward any item in the Design Pattern Shop in an attempt to make it right. Any other compensation is at our discretion.

1. Oops! Did you purchase the same digital PDF twice? Hey, no worries, it happens! We all have those moments! Simply contact us and upon purchase confirmation you will be issued a refund or discount code to apply toward another pattern in the shop in the equivalent amount of the duplicate purchase.

2. Did you think this was an actual finished product? If this purchase was accidental and you have received the email that contains the digital downloads, DO NOT download the file. If the file(s) download has been completed, a refund, exchange or credit cannot be issued. Please contact us if this has happened to you, perhaps we can come to an arrangement. Please note, however, that any such arrangements are at our sole discretion.

Digital files are sent via Etsy to the email address associated with your Etsy profile account. Because we can not confirm the ownership of other addresses outside of the one provided in the Etsy account we cannot resend files to another email address.

Please make sure your email address is updated before purchasing as digital downloads are available instantly!

If your physical address has changed and an was not updated in your Etsy profile, contact us immediately so that we can change it!

Should your order already be processed and in transit then we are not responsible for the delivery. If a item is returned to us from the wrong address it will be shipped after extra postage is paid via a PayPal invoice.
