art and crafts. I work towards creating contemporary functional artifacts for home decor using
traditional Indian art and crafts. The idea is to suit the modern taste of today's generation yet keep our tradition alive.This combination makes my products stand apart.We deal with original Pattachitra art done by trained artists and then assemble it into wall clocks, table decor items, kettles and various other stuff. All our products are hand painted or handcrafted and takes days to produce a finished product.For instance, Pattachitra dates back to the 5th Century but still confines to painting on the wall,my idea is to create functional artifacts using this art which people can adorn their walls with and find use at the same time.I have tried to create a camaraderie between art, decor and our dying tradition. The effort was always there which shaped into this venture lately.I have always felt there is so much more to show to the world about India than is actually projected and my continuous tryst with the same helped me shape Vintage Vistha.
I always look out for fresh ideas and augment something different than what is currently used.By targeting a new base, these innovations create a new market altogether which gives me double the motivation to work harder on creating new things.
