*ABOUT HAND STAMPING: Beyoutifly Creations’ personalized items are not machine engraved, they are stamped by hand with individual letter stamp tools and a hammer. Imperfections (variations in depth, spacing & alignment) are characteristics of this rustic technique of personalization, adding uniqueness to your piece.
There is no computer involved in the stamping by hand technique, the letter’s impressions are done by hammering into metal, materials and labor need to be invested. Because of that, PROOFS CAN NOT BE PROVIDED. Your order will be hand stamped with the metal stamp you selected exactly as you typed during checkout (punctuation, uppercase, lowercase, etc.).
Once the metal has been hammered no changes can be made. If you want to change the text or change the metal stamp font choice, materials and labor will need to be invested again and a new order will need to be placed.
For those wishing a perfect and exact personalization, machine engraving is recommended instead.
Hand stamped items are polished to a BRUSHED finish, blackened with semi permanent ink, and treated with a wax polish that provides a temporary protective layer.

Can you hand stamp logos?
There is no laser engraving and computer involved in the rustic stamped by hand technique. Hand stamping is done with tools (metal stamp letters and symbols) and a hammer. I can only use letters and symbols that are available as metal stamps.
Logos can only be stamped by hand with a hammer if you have a metal stamp tool custom made with your logo.
Is hand stamping the same as engraving?
Unlike machine engraving, that lightly removes the metal by dragging a metal tip over it, hand stamping is a forceful process that “spreads” the metal and leaves deep indentations with the use of a hammer and individual letter metal stamps.

I made a "typo" mistake when I placed my order. What happens now?
Orders will be hand stamped following EXACTLY the information provided by the customer during checkout (spelling, quote marks, punctuation, capitalization, etc.).
If the wrong information was provided by the customer and the piece is already hand stamped, a new order will have to be placed by the customer.
If a mistake is made by Beyoutifly Creations, the piece will be redone without any additional cost.
Do the listed fonts come in different sizes?
Metal Stamp fonts are tools and can’t be resized, they are only available in the sizes listed.
Can the tags be attached to an outdoor furniture?
Oxidation is a natural process for Copper and Copper Alloys (Brass, Bronze & Sterling Silver) and regular polishing is required to keep these metals shiny. The exposure to the elements will accelerate the oxidation process.
The “black" in the hand stamped letters will fade faster when exposed to the elements.
Aluminum will do better outdoors, since it doesn't oxidize like copper/copper alloys.
Brass won’t rust and will last longer than most other metals in a submerged environment.

Can you hand stamp both sides of a pendant or tag?
Pendants/tags can’t be stamped on both sides. Hand stamping is a forceful process, each letter is done individually with a hammer and a letter punch, leaving marks on the other side of the metal.
If I hand stamp the back, the indentations in the front will be ruined.
Only very thick pendants (1/16” thickness at least) can be hand stamped in both sides.
Why does jewelry tarnish faster on me?
Copper & copper alloys (sterling silver, brass and bronze) will oxidize in the air resulting in the build up of an oxidized/tarnished layer on jewelry.
The metals will tarnish faster in areas with high humidity and air pollution. Contact with materials like cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, deodorant, body lotion, bleach, chlorinated pools, etc., speeds up the tarnishing process.
The metals in your jewelry will also become oxidized by reacting with acids in your skin. Highly acidic skin pH will accelerate the jewelry oxidation process (body acidity is usually related to one’s diet).
What is the difference between Brass and Bronze?
Bronze is a metal alloy consisting primarily of copper, usually with tin.
Brass is a metal alloy of copper and zinc.
Will my skin turn green if I wear copper jewelry?
Most people can wear Copper Jewelry without any issues, but some people may notice a small amount of green “rub off” from their Copper jewelry. This is a natural chemical reaction to the individual skin and is not a jewelry’s defect.
The rub off is harmless and washes off with soap and water.
Copper reacts naturally with the salt in our skin (which can be created whenever we sweat) and also to our skin pH (copper reacts to acidic environments). Highly acidic skin pH will accelerate the copper jewelry oxidation process (body acidity is usually related to one’s diet).
I can’t predict how acidic your skin pH is and how it will react to copper and copper alloys.
