If an item is lost in the mail (especially if it shows as delivered), you will need to open a case with Etsy and they will reimburse you. A Note on Gold:
Because of the softness of pure solid (24k) gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry, altering its hardness and other properties. Alloys with lower caratage, typically 22k, 18k, 14k or 10k, contain higher percentages of copper, or other base metals in the alloy.
If I use the terms "14k gold" or "18k gold" in my listing, you can be sure it is solid gold, not gold filled.
All gold filled items will say they are gold filled. It is possible I may use the term "14k gold filled", but I will never leave off the "filled" in an item that is gold filled. As most Etsy sellers use the term "solid gold", if it makes you nervous that I don't say that, feel free to check first!
