GOLD FILLED:
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.

GOLD VERMEIL:
Our gold plate “Vermeil style” is a plating process that uses 98.5% pure gold. It is a gem quality plating that is 40 micro inches thick over sterling silver.

STERLING SILVER:
Sterling silver (.925) is used in our designs and may require polishing due to oxidation.

The ring was beautiful and as pictured! But I was very disappointed with the shipping, as it says it ships next day, but did not ship until 3 days later. Based on the advertisement that it shipped the next day, I paid for priority shipping to ensure it arrived before an event, but it did not come in time :( If I would have known, I would not have bought this ring or at least not paid for priority shipping!
