I call myself a third-generation crafter. I grew up in a household where Easter dresses and Halloween costumes were handmade by my mother and grandmother. I loved helping pick fabrics and patterns, and helping sew. We did lots of crafts at home, in 4-H, and even at church. It has been a lifelong love of mine to make fun, beautiful things.

I started my Etsy shop when my daughter's school required parents to donate items for a school auction fundraiser. Rather than go to a store and buy something, I decided to donate a handmade item. So, I hit the craft store with wild abandon and ended up with burlap, fabric, glitter, feathers, and no real idea. The fundraiser was in the fall, and I eventually decided to make a mantle sized banner for Thanksgiving. When I brought it in for the auction, I recieved numerous compliments, and a lot of "you should sell those" comments. The rest is history!

Now, my girls love to go with me to fabric shops and help pick colors and prints for my banners. I love sharing this with them, and inspiring them to be creative, artistic little people. If they can dream it up, we can make it happen together!

I love being a part of planning a life event. Custom colors and styles for bridal showers and wedding decorations. Banners to match sweet baby nursery bedding. Wording and colors to celebrate a special life event, such as graduation or anniversary. Teacher's name banners welcoming students to a classroom. It makes me so proud to have banners hanging in restaurants, in shop windows, decorating events and homes around the world.

I love making banners, but most of all, I love to make custom banners! I love a challenge. The more complicated, the better. Bring it!
