An easy and quick crochet tutorial to help you make your own Rainbow wall hanging with fringe, to decorate your little one's nursery.
This can be customised in so many different ways, using any color combos you like.
I rate this pattern as beginner/easy, and is written in US terms. Your wall hanging will measure approx. 20 inches long and 10 inches wide when finished. This pattern contains picture tutorials on the last page to help with the written instructions. Pattern contains 4 pages including pictures.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
• 4.0 mm hook
• 200 grams (1skein) of white medium weight (4) yarn. I used Paintbox yarn in simply chunky. It says it’s a chunky weight, but I equate it
to more of a medium (4) weight. So if you don’t have access to Paintbox yarn, any medium weight white yarn will do.
• A 12” inch wooden dowel. You can pick these up at any hobby store, I find mine in the craft section at the dollar store.
• A tiny bit of black for the eyes and smile
• A tiny bit of pink for the cheeks
• Selected colors for the fringe of the wall hanging.
• A yarn needle for sewing on the face
• And a good pair of scissors for snipping ends
STITCH ABBREVIATION:
• Half Double Crochet = HDC
• Single Crochet = SC
• Slip Stitch = SLST
• Chain = CH
• Finish Off = FO
