All items which are under one pound and come in standard-sized packages will ship first class mail (5-9 days) unless you upgrade to priority mail (2-3 days). The postal service does not guarantee the 2-3 day shipping time for priority mail.

All items which exceed one pound and/or need an irregular sized package, will ship either parcel select (2-8 days, not guaranteed) or priority mail (2-3 days, not guaranteed).

If you need an item express mail (1-2 days), which the postal service guarantees, please send me a message or purchase the express shipping option.

International shipping delivery times are between 9 and 30 days. Delivery is highly variable due to each country's customs and local service. Please order well in advance.

Although I try to provide top quality products, sometimes defects occur. I am happy to provide refunds for defective products as long as photographic evidence of the defect is provided or the defective product is returned unused. Please do not throw away defective products if you would like a refund! Contact me directly so we can quickly resolve the matter.

We do not offer refunds for items which are not defective.

Mylar balloons are made with a plastic/nylon, synthetic material that is recyclable and reusable, but it does not biodegrade. They will be in the landfills forever, so try to keep these for crafts or recycle them if your local recycling program accepts them.

To reuse your Mylar balloon, all you need is a drinking straw. Insert a drinking straw into the opening of the Mylar balloon where you can see the colored plastic slip. The straw must go in between the two slips of colored plastic. The straw goes in fairly far for most balloons. Gently squeeze the balloons until you feel the air/helium being released. If the air is not coming out, the straw is not in far enough. Once all the air is out, you can store, donate, or sell your balloon!

2. All our latex balloons are natural latex, which is 100% biodegradable.
3. We reused shipping bags.
4. All our twine is natural jute or 100% cotton - unbleached.
5. Project scraps are saved and made into confetti (watch for sales!).
6. We donate scraps we cannot use to make your party supplies to local schools for their art projects.

Dark Ideals is NOT responsible for packages lost in the mail, stolen from a delivery location, or otherwise damaged by the postal service.

Shipping insurance is available for purchase, which allows the customer to get a refund from the postal service should something happen to your package. Please contact me of you would like to purchase shipping insurance.
