Hand Weaving, Yarn Spinning and Plant Dyeing in the English Countryside.

Featured in Mollie Makes magazine, Fibre Share and 91 Magazine, and the independent Knot Journal. Now supplying bespoke pieces to independent boutique The LillianDaph Store in North East England.

My work has been described as 'lovely, wild and free, like a garden path or meadow of wild flowers the way the colours blend & change.'

I aim to convey my love of the unique, the organic, the whimsical and the colourful with a respect for the fibres involved and their sources. From my 1890s English cottage, my studio awaits long hours of hand weaving and yarn spinning, and my old yard and country garden await a Summer of plant dyeing and wool washing, to be spun by hand on a vintage wheel.

*All artwork made with organic, cruelty free, British sourced wool from sheep, goats and alpacas that are well cared for on their farms. I also use many plant based fibres such as cotton, hemp, linen etc and no synthetic materials whatsoever*

You can follow the creation of my products and gain a daily insight into my life as a maker by following @wallflower_weavings on Instagram and follow www.linktr.ee/wallflower_weavings to read blog features and more.

~~ Let's collaborate! ~~ Get in touch if you have a vision for your own Wallflower Weaving ~ something to finish off a newly decorated space or to make a beautiful gift for someone you love. The warmth and originality of fibre art is the perfect option to liven up a room.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

To ensure your wall art has a long life, follow these simple steps.

1. Keep it hanging at all times. If you have to pack it away for any reason, lay flat on paper/bubble wrap, and roll it into a log, swiss roll style!

2. Avoid tugs or pulls, and excessive handling. These pieces are secure, but tugging or pulling could warp them beyond repair. Also, please keep it away from flames. *Do not hang it above your fireplace!!!*

3. Cleaning: if you follow steps 1 and 2, the only dirt that will accumulate is dust. Take it outside once or twice a year, hold by the dowel/branch, and sway gently, with a little pat. Please don't whack or shake it, and do not wash/scrub/wipe it or bring into contact with liquids.
