This is a pattern + tutorial for a hanging pod storage bag. These bags are great for stuffing full of grocery bags, tossing in loose toys to get them out of sight, filling with winter-wear like scarves, hats, and gloves, etc. This is a quick and easy project which should take about an hour to complete. Once you have a hang of it you should be able to sew a bag in less than 30 minutes. This is a great sewing project for beginners!
Materials for this project:
1 yard outside fabric
1 yard inside fabric
sewing thread
pins

The pattern fits on four 8.5" x 11" sheets and the tutorial includes pictures and instructions. Basic sewing skills are a big plus for this pattern, but don’t let that hold you back if you are new to sewing. I got my start by grabbing a pattern and wrestling with it until I figured it out .
