Hello, my name is Helen, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting & making things, I did Art GCSE, A Level & went to Jacob Kramer Art College/Leeds College of Art & design in the UK. I am originally from Leeds, I have lived in Manchester, Nigeria & Bulgaria. One of the things I love about my work is that I can carry on making my stuff anywhere in the World.

I've been making wedding cake toppers for 18 years. I started off selling them on eBay (I was actually the first cake topper maker on eBay UK!) I am not currently making toppers but I am making smaller items such as personalised mugs, family portraits, photo frames, magnets and coasters.

I had a 'normal' job for a few years after college and got stuck in a rut! I then got really ill and whilst in therapy my CBT suggested I try doing something to keep me busy that I enjoyed. I had not made/drawn anything for a few years and she told me to bring some stuff into hospital and she would ask the staff what they thought. I couldn't imagine anyone paying actual money for my stuff. They did though & it all sold, I painted some plant pots, mugs, made a few animal magnets etc. with my little characters & again it all sold so I looked into eBay (it was new then!) and was really amazed when people bought my work there too!

I've made hundreds & hundreds of sets of toppers over the years & sent them all over the World. I am proud to have had my work feature on Channel 4 TV in 2006 for 'You Are What You Eat' with Gillian Mckeith & two more of my toppers featured on ITV1's Jeremy Kyle Show on 26th July 2007.

This is my job & I want you to be happy so I keep in touch with you from when you place your order until I've sent it to you. I send my work anywhere in the World.
