Multi Stripe Runner - 65 x 150cm

This environmentally friendly multi-colour striped runner brightens up any hallway and, as its brilliant at trapping up to 95% of dirt, dust and mud it’s a great way to keep your floors and conscience clean. Suitable for use all around your home, including outdoors, this runner can absorb up to 3 times its own weight in water so prevents slips and trips on wet floors and when it’s dirty can be washed at 30°C coming out brand new. Super soft and cosy, this runner can also be used to protect your feet from cold tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom in the winter months!

The Hug Rug mats are made up of three different layers all using 100% recycled materials. The tufts are made from recycled cotton and microfibres and are bonded to the flexible, anti-slip, rubber backing – made from recycled industrial plastics – by an extra tough fibre membrane made from recycled plastic bottle lid tops.

Hug Rugs work hard to make their rugs as environmentally friendly as possible. Each year they recycle:

• Over 5.9million T-Shirts to use in the cotton tufting
• Over 7.5million plastic bottles to create the extra tough membrane
• Over 2.5million litres of water to run the mills
• Over 100 tonnes of recycled industrial plastics to use in the backing

Plus their mills in Yorkshire are ZERO WASTE to landfill!

Manufactured and designed in Yorkshire, UK. Recyclable at the end of its life.

Packaging includes a recycled cardboard header, and are rolled up in a recycled plastic bag to keep the rug clean and together during storage and delivery.

From the sourcing of raw materials, the development of entirely new manufacturing processes, using cleaner/greener sources of electricity made by hydro pumps, windmill farms and solar, through to its eventual disposal and recycling – everything has been considered to ensure Hug Rug has a light environmental footprint, and products can even be washed at 30°C. Manufactured in the UK at a plant approved by the Carbon Trust and keeps carbon mileage to a minimum.
