A journey into the world of gems...

When I was young, I traveled three times to Central and South America. I took a liking to it. The third trip, a four-month trip, had shaken my finances. So, I decided to trade in a property that could reduce my travel costs and help me travel more. Why not gemstones? It's very small, easy to carry and this product keeps its value over time. So I took gemology classes and then graduated. A journey of immersion in the world of gems shaped the rest of my life. This trip was a week in Tucson Az, to negotiate at the largest exhibition of gems and minerals on the planet. Since then, I have never traveled anywhere other than Tucson. My travel budgets have turned into gem buying budgets. I am not bitter about that. I lived a series of twenty journeys through the immense universe of gems. I am entering my 28th year as a gem trader.

Jeune, j'ai voyagé à trois reprises en Amérique centrale et en Amérique du Sud. J'y ai pris goût. Le troisième voyage, un voyage de quatre mois avait ébranlé mes finances. Alors, j'ai décidé de faire le commerce d'un bien qui pourrait réduire mes frais de voyage et m'aider à voyager davantage. Pourquoi pas les pierres précieuse ? C'est tout petit, facile à transporter et ce produit garde sa valeur au fil du temps. Alors j'ai suivi des cours de gemmologie, puis obtenu un diplôme. Un voyage d'immersion dans l'univers des gemmes a façonné le reste de mon existence. Ce voyage c'était une semaine à Tucson Az, pour négocier à la plus grande exposition de gemme et minéraux de la planète. Depuis, je n'ai plus jamais voyagé ailleurs qu'a Tucson. Mes budgets de voyages se sont transformés en budgets d'achats de gemmes. Je n'en suis pas amer. J'ai vécu une série de vingt voyages à travers l'immense univers des gemmes. J'entame ma 28e année à titre de commerçant de gemme.
