Aloe vera Plant in a 2.5" Pot ~ an Interesting Succulent with Medicinal Benefits
We recommend all orders ship with a heat pack at this time. Even if you are in a warm state, we are not, as we are on the East Coast. We only guarantee orders that ship with heat packs! If no heat pack is ordered, winter plant shipments are done at customer risk and will not be replaced or refunded if cold damaged. One heat pack does a large box of plants - so only one is needed. We charge $10 for the packs as they add a half pound of shipping weight to the box, and also include special thermal bubble wrapping of each pant ordered.
Aloe vera has long, fleshy, spiked leaves that are green to gray-green. The leaf edges are serrated, though not sharp, and are also speckled with irregular white spots. It spreads by offsets from the parent plant, and they don't mind being packed tightly together in a pot. Aloe vera thrives in warm temperatures in full sun. A sunny window with morning or afternoon sun is ideal. Water it sparingly every other week, and only if needed. Do not overwater, as the plant rots easily. Aloe prefers free draining soil, and has numerous medicinal benefits. Leaf gel rubbed on the skin helps to heal burns from the stove or sun. Many people keep a plant in their kitchen for that reason. Cleans and purifies the air of toxins. Can be ingested, but do your research first. Much information is available online.
The plants in these photos are representative of those on hand. All are beautiful, and lush, and ready to be moved to a larger pot. Aloe plants have an interesting silhouette, and great visual impact. Put them against a simple background where the shape of their leaves can be enjoyed.
THERE IS NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OF PLANTS
***IMPORTANT GENERAL SHIPPING INFO*** We ship plants Monday - Thursday only, to prevent them from spending the weekend in a USPS shipping facility. Plants ship Priority Mail to ensure they are delivered in 1-3 days time. YOU MUST BE HOME TO ACCEPT THE PLANT, so it can be unboxed immediately on receipt. Plants cannot be allowed to sit in a hot mailbox or on a cold porch in the elements. If you can't be home to accept delivery, consider having the package sent to your work place, or to the home of a friend or family member who will be available. If there is damage, please contact me within 2 days of receipt, and include photos of the plant and the shipping box. Shipping to lockers is not guaranteed!
