Compostable paperboard tubes were the natural choice for us because they are completely biodegradable, and easily home or facility composted, which makes this deodorant a great eco-friendly and zero waste alternative.

We also use earth-friendly labels that are made from natural tree-free sugarcane and are 100% home or facility compostable including the adhesive.

Now you can feel great about your deodorant tube not contributing to a landfill. We chose to make the switch from a more common plastic tube, made from petroleum based plastic, to these 100% paperboard tubes. Because plastic deodorant tubes are composed of many different types of plastic (ie the dial is one type of plastic while the tube is another type) they are often not accepted for recycling at all. This means that deodorant tubes are often single-use plastic.
