Frequently asked questions

What do you use your large bags for?

My large size bags are great for apples, oranges, avocados, potatoes, 1 bunch of kale, spinach, onions, large amounts of bulk items and more. If you would like a custom size bag for larger items such as several bunches of kale or heads of lettuce, contact me for a custom size.

What do you use your small bags for?

My small size bags are great for smaller items such as lemons, limes, garlic, radishes, bulk items, and more. I also use them for snack bags, and anything else you would use plastic baggies for besides holding liquid or moist items.

Do you make bread bags?

Yes! I can make them out of unbleached cotton muslin or a cotton fabric. My standard size is 11"x17" but I can easily make them a custom size also. Contact me to discuss custom order.

How to you use your bread bags?

My bags can be used to carry bread from the market to your home without having to use plastic. They are also great to store bread in, however they will also need to be placed in a close to air-tight container. Larger kitchen storage containers, metal tins, or plastic shoe box type storage containers work well. Using the bag in addition to these storage methods will help maintain moisture.

Custom and personalized orders

Yes! I can make custom sizes with pretty much any cotton fabric. I add an additional $5 to custom orders. Contact me for more details.

Can you ship plastic free.

Always. Everything down to the tape will be made of cardboard or paper, and without plastic. I will usually ship with no packaging inside my packages because the things I sell are not fragile. I use USPS stickers (1 large or 2 small) for labeling.
