The straws are cut from real bamboo stalks – nothing re-compressed or processed. Our bamboo is native to North Vietnam. Each straw is cut from a single stem of bamboo, unique in its own variance of color, thickness, texture and diameter. No pesticides or chemicals are used while growing or cleaning these straws. There is no chemical in the engraving process also. We use coffee to color the engraved text/logo. YES, REAL COFFEE!

They are washable and reusable. The straws can last for months when properly cared for.
