I accept exchanges for size fixes, within 14 days of delivery. (rings with laser engraving will not be accepted). Only one exchange per ring purchase.

Your ring must be in a like-new condition when I receive it.

My rings are not resizable. When an exchange is made for a new size, an entirely new ring must be made from scratch. Due to this there is a size exchange fee. I’ll set up the custom listing for the size fix at an agreed upon time.

The exchange fees are as follows:

Standard wood inlay rings - 20%
Stone/wire inlay rings - 30%
Double inlay - 30%
Triple inlay - 40%
Mountain/wave inlay - 40%
Gold core rings, meteorite rings - NOT EXCHANGEABLE

Make sure you get sized before purchasing any ring on the internet. I recommend either going to a jeweler, purchasing a cheap titanium ring or rings on Amazon, or buying a sizer on Etsy (I sell sizers).

NOT recommended for sizing:
Printing paper sizers
Using plastic strap sizers
Using steel ring sizers (they look like they should work, but frequently give bad results)

None of the above represent a comfort fit feel that modern rings utilize, tend to be too thin, or do not allow you to do the “knuckle” test, which is necessary for making sure the ring is not too tight nor too loose.

I utilize a third party for laser engraving. If you are interested in getting your ring engraved through my shop, the following details will apply:

Please message me directly and I will get you the details on fonts and number of characters available for your size of ring. In general the max # of characters will be between 30 and 40.

Engraved rings are NOT exchangeable

SCRATCHING/WEAR:

Nothing is immune to scratches! Even tungsten carbide rings can be scratched. Here's a breakdown:

Tungsten and ceramic are the hardest to scratch, followed by Cobalt-chrome. Cobalt will still wear over time.

Titanium and Surgical steel are very strong and extremely resistant to bending, but will still scratch.

None of these metals will scratch deeply unless truly abused. You may just notice that over time, they will go from a polish, to a matte finish. If you'd like your ring polished again, I offer free polishing services (just pay one-way shipping, please contact me on Etsy first for my address.)

All of my inlay rings are protected by a layer of resin. This resin is meant to be able to be replaced. If your ring's resin layer becomes damaged over time, contact me and I will replace or fix it free of charge. You'll just be responsible for shipping it to me.

Generally the resin layer should last for many years with even moderate care practice. However, if damaged resin is left untreated for too long, water could seep underneath and damage the wood inlay. If this were to occur, know that there may be a fee in repairing your ring, as replacing the wood inlay is a more intensive repair process.

The primary purpose of the resin layer is to protect the wood inlay. If worked on quickly, replacing resin is a relatively easy process.

Water: Your ring is waterproof! Showering, handwashing, hand sanitizer, are all fine. However, avoid wearing your ring in the pool, as harsh chemicals can soften the resin layer.

Heat: Extreme heat may temporarily soften the resin layer. Don't leave your ring on the car dashboard in the summer, etc. If left somewhere hot: carefully remove from heat, avoid touching the resin. Wait 1 hour for the resin to re-harden.

Chemicals: Avoid solvents! Especially acetone/fingernail polish remover, paint stripper, etc. These can soften the resin layer. If your ring comes into contact with a solvent, immediately rinse with soap and water.

Polishing: Grab some mineral oil and a rag, and rub for a few minutes. Or send it back to me to buff up for free.
