The design is laser engraved onto one side of the cutting board making a fantastic memento to display in the kitchen, and can be flipped over for chopping on the reverse side.

Maple
Maple wood displays designs with the best contrast. It is our lightest colour wood and engraves beautifully!

Cherry
Cherry also has a great contrast, but with a little darker/reddish tone.

Bamboo
The beautiful thing about bamboo is that every joined piece reacts differently to the laser depending on the firmness of the wood. This gives us a rustic design scheme and the uneven color palate allows each board to be fully unique in it's beauty.

Walnut
Walnut is a beautiful, durable wood with its dark, warm, chocolate tones. Designs show up darker (Think monochromatic blends)
PLEASE NOTE: Walnut is our darkest wood and does not have a strong contrast. Some designs work better than others.

CARE INSTRUCTION:
Wipe down with warm water and kitchen soap and towel dry once clean. As with most wood products, please do not soak board and periodically oil the board with food safe oil. Chopping should be done on the reverse side where there is no design.

These are cute and unique save the dates that arrived quickly. ***please be aware that after sending these in the mail; people were randomly charged for them as apparently the stiffness of the item requires hand sorting, therefore people received them with postage due*** I mention this so you can discuss this with the post office prior to mailing and hopefully avoid some of our embarrassment at people being charged for our save the dates ☹️. Nothing wrong with the item at all just a technical issue we ran into. I do love them and recommend them!
