Corsets and Costumes
Ready to Wear and Custom Corsets and Period Clothing for Reenactments, SCA, LARP and Costume Parties.
Here you will find quality garments ranging from the early 16th Century to the late 18th Century.
When you order a custom garment from me you will receive excellent customer service and my aim is to provide you with a wonderful shopping experience. I will discuss your requirements and offer advice, and produce a mock up of garments requiring a close fit. During construction I will send you progress reports and you will see your garment grow from cut out fabric pieces right through to final finishing.
I have a selection of ready made and custom garments. Please feel free to contact me if you see any item that you would like custom made. I may not be able to offer the exact fabrics but we can always discuss similar options.
I am also happy to work out payment plans if required.
I carry out a vast amount of research on the construction of historical garments and I am continually adding to my range of clothing.
I now have a large collection of sewing patterns which I am in the process of adding to my shop.

5 out of 5 starsThe corset fits perfectly and is really quite comfortable. Leonie was great to work with. Thank you so much! -update: I love this corset even more after wearing two consecutive days at a fair. It was supportive and very lightweight and held up very well. By far the best corset I have worn for Renaissance festivals. Money well spent.

5 out of 5 starsI worked with Leonie to create a custom gown. I wanted it inspired by Ariel's pink dress from "The Little Mermaid", but with historical details and full corseting. Leonie was AMAZING and included me in every step. From the initial sketches, to the fabric choices, to a mock version to test fit, to trims used - she let me be part of it all. The final product is outstanding, and of the upmost quality. There were five separate parts to the outfit which include an underskirt, crinoline, bum roll, skirt, and over dress. Every detail is meticulously finished and the pictures do not do this dress justice at all. I am beyond thrilled and am already dreaming up the next dress! I cannot recommend Leonie and her store enough.

Shop policies
I have tried to supply as much information on my items as possible but please convo me if you have any questions.
Where possible I like to use natural materials and fabrics and any garment designed to be worn next to the skin is either made entirely from natural fibres or is lined with fabric woven with natural fibres such as linen or cotton.
I like to experiment with different boning materials and I have used steel, and plastic synthetic whalebone,
I have tried to describe fabrics and materials as accurately as possible.
I am now offering custom items. The fabrics shown on my shop are just a few examples of fabrics I have in stock. I am in process of compiling pictures of the various fabrics I can offer.
I am now in the process of adding sewing patterns to my shop.

CUSTOM GARMENTS
I usually require a deposit of one third of the cost of the garment before starting work on your mock-up or your garment, if a mock up is not needed. I am happy to discuss payment plans.
I would appreciate payment for the deposit within seven days. Please contact me if you cannot make payment within this time to see if we can work something out. If I am not contacted within this time I reserve the right to cancel the order.
I will inform you when I am ready to start work on your mock-up and will continue on receipt of your confirmation to go ahead. When finished I will post the mock up to you for fitting. I will pay UK postage of the mock up and charge a reduced postage for overseas customers. Return postage cost for the mock-up is not included.
On its return I will make alterations if necessary and will require confirmation from you to go ahead with the final garment. If I do not receive confirmation within seven days I reserve the right to cancel the order.
I will keep you informed of the progress and will inform you when it is ready. At this stage I will require the remaining balance of the garment cost within seven days unless a payment plan has been agreed.
On receipt of final payment your garment will be posted to you within 5 days. (Please note this does not include actual postage time.)
TIMESCALES FOR CUSTOM ORDERS
These can vary according to my workload. Generally a mock up will be produced within 10 days and the garment can be produced within 30 days. These times may be reduced but a complex garment may take considerably longer. I will always give a more accurate timescale before I accept an order.
Shipping
I aim to ship items within a maximum of 5 days of receiving payment. (This is to allow for packing time and weekends and public holidays when it is not always possible to ship an item)
Garments will be wrapped in white acid-free tissue paper first and then wrapped in bubble wrap. Depending on the size of the garment, it will be posted in a strong polythene postal bag or boxed.
