Looking for something... different for your "Secret Santa", grab bag, or own holiday decor?
Lauf and the world Laufs with you!
Here comes Krampus! Loved by enthusiasts and feared by naughty children.
If an "Elf on the Shelf" is a little... tame for your family, how about a Krampus in the corner?
This is a medium difficulty pattern, knowledge of knitting in the round, including i-cords, increases and decreases, picking up stitches, some basic crochet skills, and basic sewing skills will be needed.
Krampus takes about 6 hours from beginning to finishing touches.
Materials and Tools:
Medium Weight yarn in black, tan, red, and gray/ silver
(Red Heart Super Saver, Lion Heart Vanna’s Choice, or Caron One Pound are good choices. You can also use wool yarn if preferred)
You will need about 250 yards of black, 4 yards of tan, 50 yards of red, 2 yards of silver
5 double-pointed, Size 5 needles (I prefer Bamboo)
1 N-9 mm sized crochet hook
1 tapestry or other large needle to weave in yarn ends
White sewing thread and sewing needle
2 x 24 mm cat eyes in green (or color of choice)
1” x 3” piece white felt
