To make this purse, I use Patons DK smoothie in green, as well as very small amounts of black and white yarn for the eyes. This yarn is DK weight and more specifically is 200yds per 100g. Any yarn of the same weight would be ok for this pattern.

The pattern is written in English and is available in either UK or American crochet terms.

Please note, to make this coin purse you will also need an arch frame kiss purse clasp. These are available from wool warehouse or on ebay - you will need a clasp that is size 9cm wide.
