PHRASE LENGTH
With the shape of this piece and the varying sizes of fonts I cannot give you a certain number of characters that will fit. I more than likely will be able to fit 4-6 words on there. I cannot stamp the back of these picks without ruining the front. If you are not sure if your phrase will fit just message me and I will work with you!

Guitar pick is made of pure brass. The pick measures 1 inch across and 1 1/4 inch down.

(IMPORTANT) Please type your phrase exactly how you want it including capitalization and spelling. I will stamp your phrase exactly as typed. I cannot be held responsible if the message was typed incorrectly.

**Please note that these items are hand stamped meaning that I stamp each letter one at a time. So please do not expect the letters to be perfectly straight or centered. The process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number and symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer and steel stamp. This is much deeper than engraving and therefore, there will probably be a slight impression on the other side.

Please note that most items cannot be stamped on the back as it ruins the stamping on the front. Items that can be stamped on the back will either say so in their descriptions or give the option in their drop down menus.

I recommend avoiding water for most products as it can wash the black ink out of the lettering. However if your lettering starts to fade simply refill them with a black sharpie and remove the excess ink with either a "Sunshine Polish Cloth" or a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Copper, brass, sterling silver and nickel will patina over time and can vary depending on use and exposure to body oils. The naturally occurring, ageing process for these metals has a lovely look and aesthetic and is not considered a defect but part of the beauty and appeal of the metals. If you prefer to keep your pieces bright, a sunshine polish cloth or other jewelry cleaners with do the trick.
