Even since my childhood I was fascinated with historical costumes, the magic world of corsets and crinolines and that is how I chose my vocation - Fashion design and textile technology.
My first corset was a project for a Historical Museum of Zagreb - a replica of the entire historical costume of the countess Oršić.
After finishing the college, back in 2006, I started researching on patterns, fitting and building techniques and started making corsets for limited circle of local customers.
I draw my inspiration mostly from gothic, fetish and avant-garde styles and I love to experiment with new patterns, fabrics and techniques.
I also work as a writer for Corsetmaker's Companion - Foundations Revealed.
My focus is on unique, high quality custom made garments with an accent on the visual appearance- hourglass shaped silhouette and design.

Welcome to Contessa Gothique Corsets. Pleased to fulfill your needs for high quality and exquisitely designed Custom Corsets. All of CG Corsets are made of high quality materials - spiral and flat steel bones and include a layer of coutil (depending on a specific design, as described in a listing) and a waist tape for an additional support. Any of your wishes can come true, so if you have any questions or special wishes, please feel free to send a message.

Payment

Payment must be in US dollars and made through Pay Pal only. Payment must be completed within 84 hours (3 days) of purchase to avoid negative feedback and relisting of the item.

At least 50% deposit for the materials must be payed before I start an order. In the case of cancelling the commission, deposit is not refundable.

Shipping

After the payment is completed, "Ready to ship" items will be shipped within 72 hours. For the "Made to order" items please allow up to 28-56 working days for creating and finishing the item to your specifications (bespoke and special orders take longer processing time).

Shipping costs are stated in the listings and they includes costs for packaging. All items are sent through priority uninsured mail unless stated otherwise. Contessa Gothique cannot be responsible for any lost or damage of your item during the shipping.
Contessa Gothique cannot be responsible for any custom fees if they appear, so please check the custom policy for your country before the purchase. Please allow some time for delivery, all the items are sent from Croatia and delivery time depends on your location.
