Treetop Adventure is the launchpad for young explorers to build confidence and have fun. Older children can test their skills on Treetop Adventure Plus, brand new for 2024, with more height and tricker crossings. For Adults and children over 10 years there’s Treetop Challenge, our biggest adventure at Go Ape Southampton.

Location Overview
You’ll find Go Ape Southampton in Itchen Valley Country Park. This 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows are situated beside the River Itchen and has been recognised by the award of a Green Flag for the past four years.
As a hub for outdoor activities in Southampton’s there’s a lot to keep the family entertained and busy. With two play areas to choose from, linked by the Play Trail which is made up of a series of animal sculptures for children to play on the whole family are sure to have a great time.
You’ll also find a number of trails to guide you through the beautiful country park including the Keepers Trail, Nature Detective Trail and Tree Trail. For the more adventurous there are two permanent orienteering courses which are designed so you don’t need a compass.
There are regular activities provided throughout the year for children so make sure you check the park’s website to see what’s on when you visit. With an onsite café serving hot and cold food and drinks and a picnic site, there’s plenty of opportunity for those all-important refuel moments.
know before you go
- Wear sensible clothes for adventure.
- Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
- Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

- Let the children blow off steam in the adventure playgrounds.
- Test your sense of direction on one of the orienteering trails.
