Embroidered Shirt Dress with Belt

I think you would have to be a model to make this look good. I'm only size 10 but only 5'2" so looked like a sack of potatoes

This is a good quality garment with really lovely embroidery, and I am gutted to be sending it back. First problem is the cami, which is made of a slippery man-made fabric, quite uncomfortable. I could have put up with that, but then there was the belt... Unfortunately a belt is essential to give a bit of definition and shape to the tunic, but the belt supplied with it is much too narrow to be much use. Essentially it is just a length of thin twine with tassels; if only it were thicker it would have been OK.

this is a very chic dress that can be worn eithar in the morning or in the evening .. Great choice wonderful dress

I really love this dress .it does sit on the knee on my 5'6" and I love the loose long sleeves which are not easy to find in a summer dress and make it very useful for cool evenings or when you are trying to avoid burning in a hot sun .It's made from a drapey viscose material which falls very nicely and its very flattering . It is actually a shirt dress although you wouldn't notice this because of the embroidered fly front .It is a bit on the big side though and if you are between sizes I would go down a size . The embroidery looks expensive and IMHO its more than worth the money . My only gripe is the underslip . If you are going to the trouble of providing one I would have preferred it to be full length rather than just covering my bottom and it's made from a nasty polyester fabric which would be uncomfortable in a hot climate .why not make it from viscose as well ? That the only reason I have given a 4* rating .
