Reebok Alien U.S.C.M. Bug StomperLight Sand, Black & Pantone
Reebok unearths another version of the Bug Stomper for Alien Day 2020, inspired by the 1986 cult classic movie Aliens. The fourth and final instalment of the collaboration, this version takes elements directly from the United States Colonial Marines (U.S.C.M.) and the movie’s protagonist PFC William Hudson.
It retains the unique high-cut upper and exaggerated midfoot strap seen previously, but teams it with mil-spec details and movie-specific Easter eggs. The uppers, made with a combination of ballistic textile and leather – the latter covered in an exact replication of the camo pattern designed for the movie’s U.S.C.M. fatigues – are replete with details sure to grab the attention of collectors and cinema fanatics alike. We’ll tell you about the set of eyes on the heel, mirroring those seen on the back of Hudson’s armour, and the Weyland-Yutani logo replacing the brand’s famous Union Jack branding on the sidewall, but let you find the rest.
