The town appears to be very depress.
The town appears to be very depress. Lots of closed businesses. We would not recommend the Hotel Casino, but the IGA grocery store was well stocked and the employees were friendly. The tire store was helpful and accommodating. There are a couple different souvenir/gift shops. We went to the one that wasn't the biggest or smallest. Their selection was good and prices were great.

I have been told that Browning is no a good place to stay.
I have been told that Browning is no a good place to stay. However, we found the the Glacier Peaks was very nice, comfortable and located next to a decent place to eat.
Issue: the road from Browning to Glacier National Park was under construction for about 10 miles and it was bad driving (like 10-15 MPH).
It took a longer time to get to Glacier than anticipated.
Great cabin experience! The whole place is a charm. The rooms and common spaces (kitchen and restrooms) are clean and well decorated with art pieces. We found all we needed for our stay. Great location near GNP's St Mary entrance and Looking Glass Hwy. The host was very kind - we arrived after lunch time and were offered an early check-in. The small gallery also has some Blackfeet art pieces. The view from the cabin was scenic, and we also spent hours stargazing at night just outside the cabin. Overall, it was a great experience.
This is a modern hotel you’ll find in any big city, but in Glacier Park area, it really stands out !
Facility is all A/C. Hot breakfast in a box - eggs, sausage or bacon, harsh brown or potato cake, biscuit & orange juice. The 2nd day, they gave us an extra brown bag to go (bagel, granola bar, yogurt, apple juice)
One day, there is free cookies in front desk.
There is a middle-age lady who worked in the front desk, she is exceptionally helpful & nice !
The room was spacious, very clean, modern furniture. Even though we slept for two days, they did not clean the room. good breakfast The big problem is that there are no restaurants in Browning. The only place to eat is in the casino and the food is bad there. I would recommend sleeping in East Glacier, the village is great with many places to stay and good restaurants.
Rooms are very spacious and clean. It's a functional hotel that you can use if you're staying on the east side of glacier national park and couldn't find anything closer to the entrances. Would expect a bit more given the prices...but you're staying there because you couldn't find anything reliable closer.
Nice big hotel. Clean and modern. Casino with slot machines and bingo on the property. Coffee shop and small restaurant on the property. Free popcorn in lobby. The kid that checked us in was super nice. It's about a 30 minute drive to Glacier NP.
Great to be away from other tourists and has an open view to the east. Facilities were very clean and well stocked. It was a reasonable drive to Glacier and close but not too close to Browning.
Great staff. Room overlooked Glacier Mountains and the horse track where the was an Indian Relay practice happening.
Clean room and hotel
Definitely will go again if in area
