These are a wonderful pattern. My 4 year old niece has taken the green one and will not give it back to me.

I am not sure whether to call them finger puppets because the eyes fit over your fingers, or hand puppets as the rest of the face is made up of your hand. It is amazing how many different expressions you can make with them. I wish I could post a video with the listing to show you how cute they can be.

They are the perfect project for fetes or bon bon (cracker) fillers as they only use about 10 1/2 m (11 1/2) yards of yarn. The perfect stash buster!. They also only take about 30-40 minutes from start to finish and they are a great, unusual novelty.

They are knitted on 2 needles with 8 ply (DK) yarn so even a beginner can make him. They measure about 6 1/2cm (2 1/2") tall.

I do not allow the copying of my patterns of any type but I do allow the selling of the finished goods on Etsy or anywhere else.

Directions were a little tricky to me, but worked out fine. WARNING! once you get started making one, you can't stop. I made them in every color of yarn I had and then went back to make a second set for my other grand kid. They are addictive, but, in a nice way. :-)
