Does Love Dove Trading ship internationally?
Yes! We are happy to announce that Love Dove Trading does ship internationally. Please contact us if a shipping option for your location is not listed.
Does Love Dove Trading do layaway or reservations?
Yes! Layaways or reservations can be secured on a case by case basis. Please send me a private message.
Can you explain your shipping charges, please?
Love Dove Trading offers a domestic free shipping guarantee for all orders over $35. Orders under $35 typically incur an accurate shipping rate for USPS shipping.
International orders are calculated based on destination and weight.
Items that are returned to sender due to insufficient, invalid, incomplete address or no forwarding address will be subject to additional fees to reship the item.
Items refused at the time of delivery will incur additional charges to resend. Love Dove Trading, in line with Etsy's Terms of Service does not accept forced returns.
Love Dove Trading tries to reused and recycle packing material when possible!
Where will you ship my order?
Love Dove Trading ships orders to the address which we are provided at the time of transaction. Usually, this is the default address you have on file with Etsy. If you have recently moved, or would like your purchased shipped to a different recipient please let us know at the time of sale.
Love Dove Trading cannot offer refunds for items lost due to incorrect mailing address or mistakes in the address provided.
If an incorrect address is provided and your package is returned to me, additional shipping will be required to remail. Items received back without prior permission are considered "Forced Returns." As per Etsys TOS, we do not accept forced returns.
When will I receive my item?
Love Dove Trading typically ships orders within 1-3 business days of completed purchase.
Many of our books & paper items are shipped via USPS Media Mail. Media Mail can take 2-10 days for delivery. Shipping upgrades may be available upon request and may incur an upcharge.
Items may also be shipped via first class, parcel select or priority mail. Each has its own shipping time as dictated by USPS.
WIll I get a tracking number?
Each and every package or envelope that Love Dove Trading sends out will have a tracking number!
You can find this number and track your package under the "orders" tab on your etsy acct. Simply find the transaction you are looking for. If it has been shipped, it will indicate "shipped" and have a tracking number in blue which you can click on for more information.
Do you accept returns?
Vintage treasures offered on Love Dove Trading are unique - having passed through the hands of previous owners and continuing their journey on. Vintage items are sold in as-is, as listed condition. I endeavor to describe each item accurately and fairly, including their loved worn areas and "time wrinkles".
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me directly through Etsy as I do strive for a positive shopping experience and great customer service.
Returns typically accepted only if the item does not match the description or is damaged in transit. Due to being a small, mom owned, home business, we do not accept "buyers remorse" returns or exchanges.
**Any returns that are approved are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Additional Information on International Orders
Please note that delivery methods in your country may vary. If customs fees or other payment/ information is needed, the package may be held at a package delivery center for you to fetch.
It is the buyers responsibility to be aware of their domestic shipping policies and adhere to them. If packages are not picked up in a timely matter they may be discarded or returned.
Love Dove Trading claims no responsibility for packages that are not retrieved, are refused or customs fees unpaid and refunds will not be given in these circumstances.
Covid-19 Update
During these unprecedented times, mail may take longer to be delivered especially to international locations. All international mail is shipped with insurance. In the case of missing international mail, 110 days must pass from the date of shipping and then I will be happy to open a missing mail claim for you.
Unfortunately, claims will not be opened before that as the insurance company rescinds their insurance payout for any packages delivered in under 120 days.
In short, because of the policies of the insurance program used by Etsy for international shipping, Love Dove Trading does not open missing mail insurance claims until 110 days have passed since shipment date.
This luckily is a pretty rare event.
