3 out of 5 starsThe tag looked great and really pretty on. However a corner broke off no idea how. The resin was not strong enough perhaps. Trini was very helpful when I ordered the tag and went out of her way to get the lettering right.

5 out of 5 starsCommunication was impeccable and service was thoughtful and professional. My dog looks so cute in her tag - this is the second one I’ve purchased from Peens; we always get comments on how unique and glitzy their products are 💕

5 out of 5 starsReceived my tag today, looks far better in person and the quality is obvious at first glance. The name is set into the tag instead of stuck on top, which is awesome! He got many compliments before the end of the day

How should I care for my leather products?
Vegetable tanned leather products develop a beautiful patina with time. The leather will darken but the pain will stay vibrant.
Please read below on the best way to care for your Peens & Co leather products.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
- keep away from water
- clean with a soft, dry cloth
- nourish from time to time with natural leather conditioner
- keep out of sunlight for prolonged periods
°Please note: nourishing the leather will darken it slightly and this is completely normal. Patch test your product first.

Will the leather paint wear off with regular use?
The paint we use is acrylic leather paint and we seal all leather products after paint application so it won't crack, wear off or fade.
With time the unpainted leather develops a patina but the paint stays just as vibrant creating an even more unique and beautiful piece.
What is vegetable tanned leather?
Vegetable tanned leather refers to the method of tanning the cowhide into leather.
It’s called “vegetable” because of the natural materials used in the tanning process like tree bark.
Each piece we make with veg tanned leather has unique shades and slight differences. The lack of consistency in colour and tone is a characteristic of the natural tanning processes.
Since vegetable tanning is a natural process, it’s also Eco-friendly.
Vegetable tanning instead of chrome tanning produces strong and sturdy leather. The leather is usually stiff in the beginning but gets more supple with time and use.
Vegetable-tanned leather is more expensive but so worth every penny and we love working with it.
