The ELLWOOD is deeper than the WEXLER and is designed to be functional furniture while providing your cat or small dog a place to retreat. Use as a side table or simply as a stand alone pet retreat. The cabinet comes standard with a sold back but an open back version is available as an upgrade.

The cushion is commercial grade foam wrapped in Dacron then a cotton case and has a removable slipcover that can be washed or replaced.
The plywood cabinet is an 8-layer lamination of hardwood with walnut veneer and a lacquer topcoat. The legs are made of solid walnut. The walnut is not stained, so the true color of the wood shows through when the lacquer is applied. Some color tone variations occur as the walnut veneer is real wood and real wood is perfectly inconsistent.

This unit is not designed to carry heavy loads and should be limited to no more than 30 pounds but you will have to use good judgment as to what you can put on the cabinet. Each order is custom and ships in 5 weeks. It will ship with legs already attached.
I take every realistic step to assure that each finished piece is defect free and that wood grains and colors are matched. Each piece has a 90 day warranty against manufacturing defects.
