The land "Down Under," the home of some of the most unique and sometimes terrifying creatures, and a county with a stranger than fiction history. This is Australia.

This is an original, 8-layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, in your choice of color, and featuring the topographic and bathymetric details of Australia.

This unique piece is intricately cut from eight layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. The top four land layers are in gradual shades of grass green (or your choice of another color set), while the four layers underneath are in ever-darker shades of aqua blue (or your choice, again of another color set). Because this piece is handmade, it will differ very slightly from piece pictured here. The back is titled, signed and dated as an original piece.

The work measures 8 x 10 inches (about 20 x 25 cm), and is about 1/4" thick at the highest peaks. It will be sent to you carefully wrapped and supported to ensure it arrives safely. These pieces frame beautifully, and I recommend using a mat or double mat to give the piece a little breathing room from the glass and further enhance the sense of depth in the piece.
