Some people have obsessions with buying shoes. Mine is scarves.
I have so many scarves that it was time to design and make my own.
This gives me an excuse to own even more scarves!

I love that you can modify your temperature quickly when it's warm or cold with the use of a carefully draped scarf.

Scarves lend themselves as wearable art to dress up an outfit or wear at the beach.
I'm inspired by nature, texture and colour and love to work with a range of materials from digital to drawing and painting in order to develop a design into something unique.

I have a background in illustration and design and have developed a love of textiles.
Being surrounded by nature means I have a constant source of inspiration, especially from walks on the beach where I might find feathers, beautiful rock formations, flowers or any number of interesting things. Sometimes I am inspired by something that catches my eye in my day to day life.

Above all, I want the wearer to feel that they have something beautiful and unique that reflects their own individuality.

I test out the designs first with samples to make sure that the finished product is as I would like it.

I have made some of my scarves large so that they are multi functional and can be worn as a scarf, shawl, wrap or sarong.

I sometimes use the modal and silk ones as an instant picnic blanket when I go to the park and want to sit on the grass.

I've carefully chosen fabrics that are beautiful and soft to touch so that they feel great on and the drape is very flattering.
