This shop is the physical presence of an old dream-friend which buzzed in my head for years. The one constant process my hands know is the creative scribbling, flourishing, and scratching that I have learned to offer as a form of prayer and glorification of the one who gifted me this talent: my Maker.
With steady encouragement from my husband and friends, Brass & Mint Co. has come to life (at long last) to give you small glimmers of truth and loveliness in the world.

My process involves illustrating by hand a design; in watercolor, or ink; with nib or brush or pencil. I then scan and digitize my entire work, which makes for high quality prints available in any size, professionally printed from a locally owned business, here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I do all of this in the cracks of my days as a wife and a homeschooling mother; in between nap time, school time, play time, after wringing out the pair of pants which found themselves stuffed into a toilet, after dinner time, and often, way after bed time.

The images I design are influenced by my Catholic faith, my husband's suggestions, the hilarious and brilliant interests of my 4 boys, and, of course, my personal style.
