SMALLER ITEM WASHING/CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
If/When washing your item for the first time, remember that 100% cotton does tend to shrink slightly. Very quilted items (ex. Stippled items) will get that old fashioned “quilted” look after washing. Less quilted items will not.
Category: Table Runners/ Table Toppers /Wall Hangings/Placemats
When you wash your item(s) for the first time we recommend “Color Catchers” go in the washing machine with it. (Exception is with light colored/pastel fabrics, you should not need color catchers for those.) Some fabrics will have loose dyes and you do not want those dyes to bleed into your other fabrics.
Color Catchers: We recommend 1-2 for smaller items including table runners, table toppers, bags, wall hangings, placemats, etc. We recommend 1-2 for baby quilts, 2-3 for laps, 3-4 for larger quilts. Use color catchers on first wash. Throw them in the washing machine with your laundry detergent and quilt, wash like normal. Discard the color catchers after wash.
We recommend cold/cold or warm/cold wash cycle.
