We are a brother and sisters team of artisans who make all sorts of stuff. Our shop goods are as diverse as our interests, because life inspires handmade. The books we read, the places we go, the people we meet, the stories we hear, the music we make, the encounters with God’s creatures - it all inspires us to work with our hands.
Josiah has been a crafter ever since he was a little boy making replica paper airplanes (and the aircraft carriers to put them on). His lifelong love for costumery has translated into his design and manufacture of epic fantasy and medieval period garb. As an artist his work focuses mainly on pieces inspired by his love of literature by Tolkien and Lewis. These days he spends a fair bit of time at the lathe crafting fine calligraphy pens, shawl pins, and other unique items.
Lydia is an artist and illustrator working primarily in watercolor. As a lifelong birder and nature lover, much of her work is inspired by her feathered and winged friends. (Being fond of things that fly, she likes drawing aircraft too.) Her bookmarks, nature blocks, peg dolls and more all feature her love of vivid color and richly detailed design. She is the illustrator of the children’s books Roses in the Snow and Saint Felix and the Spider.
