Summary
Beset by daily life’s trials and tribulations, many people search for the elusive wisdom that will help them to make sense of their journey and find inner peace. So, too, do the characters in this wonderful new story by Sydney Banks.
In this simple but profound tale, four colleagues meet a remarkable gardener whose unique philosophy will forever change their lives. That philosophy is equally powerful for the listener. The wisdom within this book comes in the form of a straightforward message that is accessible to all who will open their hearts to it.

The perfect story. I loved it!!!
This is a life lesson wrapped in a beautiful story. The Three principles of mind, consciousness and thought are, for want of a better term, thought provoking. Universal may be added to the front of those three words.
A brilliantly told tale that you'll find hard to put down, as I did., listening to the whole book in one session.
The book perfectly illustrates how the most simple concepts can be the most profound with a little contemplation.
Thank you Sydney Banks for sharing this wonderful story.
I can only hope Audible grants my request to have the other books by Sydney Banks in Audible format. I have these booksI on Kindle which are equally amazing, especially The Missing Link.

Interesting ideas - bad narration
I found this an interesting idea of teaching through story but the narrator's performance was poor. I think it would work better as a dramatisation with several actors.
The underlying message of acceptance I found interesting. I hope more Sydney Banks books will be put on Audible, but with a different narrator

Insightful!!
Fantastic!! It will give you the shift you need to realise that you're problems are just illusionary and come only from you're own thinking. Empowering!!!

Gives plenty to thinking about
This book gives good explanation about our innate mental wellbeing, How it is there since we born and also how we create our own reality or own life and experience. Plenty things to think about, calm down to find our true selves, our true wisdom and peace of mind. Everyone should listen it multiple times.

A wonderful story depicting the three principles
I really enjoyed this approach to the three principles, it was a really easy listen. I have been soaking up a lot of books on this topic and having it delivered in this way was certainly a lighter way to absorb the ideas around this way of thinking.
Personally I wasn't overly keen on the chosen narrator but I often find this to be the case - I hadn't realised how much voices impact me before starting to listen to books.

dreadful narrator
the principles are interesting but the story is poorly written. This would have been average but the narrator sucks every inch of emotion and soul out of the author's words so I would recommend buying the book and reading it yourself...I'm going to go stick ice picks in my ears so I never have to hear this guy speak again

Allow the gardener to speak to you.
When listening to this book, try to become Eric, let the gardener speak to you directly. Treat it as a meditation, with single pointed attention on the story, with no other distractions. Enjoy.
