Herbal Hare Shampoo is one of my best sellers. This shampoo is semi solid & you should find a little goes a long way. The scent of this reminds me of an old fashioned herbal tincture & comes from Rosemary, Fennel & Tangerine essential oils. If this does not appeal my Herbal Hare Citrus shampoos scent is lighter, obtained from grapefruit & tangerine essential oils, available in the hair care section of my shop.

Many customers have told me that this shampoo is rich enough to not need conditioner. For that I thank one of my all time favourite ingredients. Organic Coconut oil in addition to hair loving walnut oil. The absence of drying and harmful chemicals is also of benefit to your hair & scalp. No parabens, sulphates, colour or artificial fragrance.

2 sizes available. The small glass jar is 120ml & contains 80ml of product. The larger size is 260ml containing 185g of shampoo.

Vegan & cruelty free. Please see all photographs for full ingredients (the bbe date is likely to be better - I don't change my photographs with the same regularity I make products).

I frequently get asked to make a recipe to a customers own specification, using for example their favourite essential oils. I am never able to do this as all products (or even minor changes to my existing products) require full safety assessments be conducted by a certified and experienced chemist. This is in compliance with EU legislation.

Customer suggestions for future product lines are always gratefully received.

All of my products contain some organic ingredients, the amount varies between products so I like to give you percentages. In soap and toiletry making achieving a 100% organic product is not always possible as so many ingredients (such as water, minerals, colours) do not exist in an organic capacity. The high quality of the ingredients I use is important to me and remains pivotal in my creations.

Absolutely ! Cosmetic Safety Product reports (CSPR) are completed on all my toiletry products prior to them going on sale. The assessments are carried out by an experienced chemist who examines data to ensure they are safe for you to use. In further compliance with EU legislation product labels have directions for use, warnings, bbe dates and net weight.

I ordered the smaller jar just to try this product as it had got many very favourable reviews, I was surprised to receive the larger jar - which was really appreciated from Louise - thank you. I have very thin (perimenopausal) hair and generally have more oily roots and dryer lengths & ends. I have used the shampoo only once and my hair feels softer, smoother, the lengths feel more nourished and it has a slight sheen to it. Usually I wash my hair every other day - if I don't it just awful! So, I'll see how this goes but I'm happy so far. xx
