  It was the perfect mother daughter time. Elegant, graceful, magically beautiful. We both enjoyed it and were mesmerized. First time we have seen a live ballet as we are from Barbados. So to see a Russian one, was indeed an extra treat. We got a bit tired in the final section, but that was because we hadn’t rested and the seats were very uncomfortable. Nothing to do with the performance. Thank you for a memorable evening.

  This was my visit to the ballet and I wasn’t disappointed. I booked seat A11 & A12 dress circle slip. I would definitely not recommend this area of seating for tall people. I’m 5ft 5 and it was so uncomfortable, we had to move at the interval. I would recommend any of the stall seating in this theatre, all seating gives great views and leg room is better.

  Beautiful ballet. Dancers wonderful. Staging, orchestra, lighting - couldn’t fault. Moved to tears. A wonderful and truly memorable performance.

  I loved the show but one girl that worked at the theatre shouted in my ears at people to “get off their phone”during the show very unpleasant!!

  This was the first time I’d ever seen Swan Lake and what can I say, it was worth the wait! This was an excellent evening’s entertainment. The music was wonderful - the ENO’s orchestra was superb and the ballet was outstanding. The set designs were lovely, and the costumes were incredibly beautiful, ornate and a joy for the eyes. The St. Petersburg dancers are outstanding. One of my favourite ever evenings in London!

  I took my daughter to see the ballet for the first time and she was enchanted, it was an amazing production with fantastic sets and beautiful costumes

  The st Petersburg ballet theatre were amazing, as was the conductor Timor Gorkovenko. Was glad they did the happy ending!

  The principal dancers were a joy to watch, the prince had such elevation when he had a chance, beautiful to watch. The Joker was splendid, the principal swan had great athleticism and beautiful arm movements. I had been warned the corps de ballet were not top notch, true, but they were charming.

  Swan lake was awesome at the coliseum . The venue and the Saint Petersburg ballet company make this a truly magical experience.

  Having never been to a ballet I was filled with trepidation. But my god what an event. Wonderful sets, great orchestra, stunning costumes but most of all the performances were truly out of this world. I had a magnificent time and cannot recommend it highly enough! Go and see it! Yulia as ODETTE blew me away!

  It was a delight going to see Swan Lake. I loved every minute of it. I would recommend anyone to go and see it.

  Seen many Swan Lake Ballet This one is outstanding and will gi to see it once again whilst it is at The Coliseum. Only did not like ballerinas in Corp de ballet in black.Six of them . I understand their association with Odile but it did not create a dramatic impact intended May be if they are veiled or their tutus much longer and flowing..and all grouped together. Took 6 guests in dress circle for my birthday Celebrations.

  Irina Kolesnikova was the undoubted star of the night. She dazzled as the Black Swan and melted my heart as Odette. Denis Rodkin was a handsome, assured Prince and the important roles of Jester and Rothbart were ably performed by Sergei Fedorkov and Dimitry Akulinin. Of course the swans were beautifully coordinated and made the scenes magical. The production was traditional and all the dancers were clearly at home in this style. We had a happy ending and the audience loved it!

  The dancing was wonderful especially the Joker, Siegfried and, of course, Odette/Odile. I have sadly deducted a starr because I was surprised by the amount of noisy children - one even jumping around and latecomers being admitted during the early part of the performance is a definite 'no!'

  Principal ballerina Irina was brilliant and mesmerizing but it seems like the whole show was simply a one-woman show. At times it felt like the rest of the cast were on stage to create emphasis on her.

  Memorable performance . Strong individual performances and excellently choreography of groups all backed by outstanding music of ENO. It doesn’t get much better than this
