Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) is the security guard at Cold Mountain Penitentiary, a holding jail for criminals sentenced to the death penalty. When death row inmate John Coffey (Michael Clark Duncan) is convicted for the rape and murder of two young girls, he forms a connection with Paul. Despite John's menacing physical appearance, Paul sees a tender and harmless nature to John and starts to believe that he is innocent. As the days draw closer to the execution Paul can only look on powerlessly as his new found friend faces his final days.

Beste movie ever?
I love this movie it is certainly one of the best movies ever made. Wonderfull perfomances from all the cast. The story playing inside a prison does not sound magical but that is just the word that is best describing the movie. Also this version of the Bluray is beautiful.

I've always loved this film and now it's even better with the diamond luxe edition, super quality super picture and a great price.
