Sew an adorable owl with this Harper the Owl kit and sewing pattern card. A terrific scrappy project, Harper is easy and quick to sew and makes a terrific softie or pin cushion. The finished owl is 5″ x 8″.
This kit includes all of the fabrics you’ll need to sew Harper, plus the eyes and a sewing pattern with clear written instructions, illustrations, and full-sized templates ready to trace. (Note that the kit contains a modern Michael Miller print rather than the floral print pictured on the owl on the pattern cover.)
You can sew Harper by hand or with a sewing machine. This pattern is best suited for advanced beginners who already know how to sew a straight stitch on their sewing machines, how to baste, and how to do some simple hand stitching. If you’ve made a softie or two before, you’re ready for this pattern!
This kit includes:
(3) 4″ x 20″ scraps quilting cotton
(3) wool-blend felt scraps in different colors
pair of 8mm black safety eyes
You’ll need to add:
all-purpose thread
fiberfill stuffing, 2.5 ounces
